like i said, they wouldnt have done all those vfx shots for glowing eyes So yeah why dont we all chill out until we see what shes actually gonna look like. And because I know this - I’m unfazed But for anyone out there who may not - I am here to remind you that whatever ugly and negative thing anyone ever chooses to say about you is always a reflection and revelation of themselves- it does NOT define you, and it certainly does NOT make you any less perfect than you are - Be you! Stay beautiful! Live breezy As always, Racist, derogatory, and/or cruel comments have nothing to do with the person on the receiving end of that abuse. This is weak, sad, and a direct reflection of the abuser. Too often social media is abused by some who find refuge in the anonymity and detachment it provides: misused as a tool to harass, abuse, and spew hatred at others. And though I am highly unbothered I do want to use this as an opportunity to say that tearing people down is not something that I tolerate. With that said - the hate speech that followed was deplorable. And also a misrepresentation of the phenomenal production behind it all. It’s out of context and it’s a misrepresentation of the incredible character I get to play. And it was unfortunate because fans have been waiting MONTHS for a photo of ‘Starfire’ and a sloppy () photo of me on a curb in 15 degree weather is what they got instead For the sake of our incredible fans - I hated that this is the first picture people are seeing. Yesterday a photo of me on set leaked online. Shes not going to be fighting crime in that dress People complaining about starfires outfit would be like me complaining about this not being accurate to green arrows suit In teen titans go they wear their costumes all the time because its a cartoon. this is a picture of them walking down the street while filming. It's similar to how one can have emotions connected to their home country or an inanimate object.well i mean, people calling these "costumes" is being really disingenuous, these arent there costumes. There is a lot of emotions in regards to your childhood, and if someone tampers with it it can be rather upsetting. Regardless of what colour Starfire is, the costumes are just horrible. I'm not overly involved in DC overall, but seeing as I do recognize the characters and didn't actually think any of the appearances matched what I knew I thought it rather odd, and bad to be honest. Honestly my only experience with this show is what I've caught glimpses of when my sisters have been watching Teen Titans Go! on the telly.
